Tami Samek

Tami Samek joined the MVPC staff as Ministry Coordinator in February 2017. Her previous career as a Corporate Credit Manager brought her to Las Vegas in 2015 after living in the Chicago-land area (NW Suburbs) for 25 years. Born and raised in the upper peninsula of MI in Sault Ste. Marie, Tami is a proud “Yooper.”  She is a true cat lover, to Pastor David’s great dismay (LOL), and currently lives in Sun City Summerlin with her Maine Coon rescue kitty, Callie.

Tami is ordained as a Presbyterian Elder and Deacon. She had a heart’s desire to work in ministry and through circumstances out of her control, found herself fulfilling that dream in all places, Las Vegas! If you are interested in starting a new group, getting involved in serving at MVPC, Tami’s your gal!  She will help you get your group going, organize an event or connect you with the right people to learn more about serving. You will find Tami at the Welcome Center on Sunday morning, stop by to say hello!
