Dr. Mark Wherry

Dr. Mark Wherry has been the Director of Music at Mountain View Presbyterian since 2004. He conducts the Chancel Choir and oversees the music program at MVPC. He is also the Director of Vocal Music at the College of Southern Nevada where he conducts the Chamber Chorale, Jazz Singers and teaches private and class voice lessons.

Mark is active as composer having created music for 5 musicals, an opera and cantata for children. He regularly performs his unique comedy songs at The Composer’s Showcase at the Smith Center.
