Thursday’s Thoughts: “Fast Food Faith?”

There’s a sound we’ve all heard but rarely noticed—the rustling of dry chaff in the wind.

It’s weightless.

Rootless.

Directionless.

Psalm 1 draws a stark contrast: we’re either chaff blown away or a tree planted by streams of water.

That water? God’s Word.

This week at MVPC, we begin with the very first Psalm—the gateway to the entire Psalter. It’s a call not just to read the Word, but to delight in it. To savor it. To let it soak into our roots until we are unshakable—like redwoods planted in the grace of Jesus.

Let’s not settle for fast food faith. Let’s feast on God’s truth.

Read this way.

Live this way.

Delight in His way!

Grace and Peace,
Laugh Often and Fear not!
