Jesus, in John 10, refers to himself as “the Good Shepherd.” Being a Good Shepherd entails having the sheep recognize the Shepherd’s voice.

“The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has gathered all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.” (John 10: 3-4)

In our world, there are numerous voices. Many of these voices reside within our own minds and heads.

Today, I ask you, whose voice are you listening to? Whose voice are you following?

Is it the voice of the Good Shepherd?

The Good Shepherd proclaims, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

May the Shepherd’s voice fill your life with abundant joy and peace today!
