Women’s Ministries

MVPC's Women's Ministries are designed to help women of all ages grow in their faith in Christ and build relationships with other women using a 4-pillar approach that provides a solid cornerstone to uplift and encourage women.

STUDY: MVPC offers a Women’s Bible Study group that meets every Tuesday at 7:00pm (breaks during Summer).

2 Timothy 3:16-17(ESV), “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

SERVICE: MVPC offers women opportunities to serve the congregation through different groups/teams and serve outside through the local mission agencies we support (see Mission Outreach page). Serving together, as the body of Christ, builds unity, encourages growth, and develops relationships.

1 Peter 4:10 (ESV), “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

SUPPORT: MVPC offers women a place where they can find Biblically-sound support in the form of support groups such as DivorceCare and GriefShare. Our pastoral staff is also available for support and counseling.

Ecclesiastes 4:10 (ESV), “For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!”

SOCIAL: MVPC offers opportunities for Christian friendships to form and mature through social activities such as our monthly Women’s Breakfast held on the third Saturday of the month (The Summit Restaurant, 2215 Thomas W Ryan Blvd), monthly Lunch Bunch group and monthly Dinner for Six. We also attend Aviator games, host movie nights, and enjoy events at Spring Mountain Ranch Theater.

Hebrews 10:25 (ESV), “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
